Student Symposium: 30 March 2023

Challenge Submission: 30 April 2023

The Global Revenue Management Student Symposium & Student Challenge supports both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Hosted online the program is curated by the Australian Revenue Management Association and their industry Advisory Board. It will feature a selection of expert sessions from industry professionals and technology companies.

The Student Challenge for 2023 was announced at the Symposium and details are in the Symposium portal.

The challenge submission date is 30 April 2023 and the winning team will be announced at the APAC Revenue Management Summit in May 2023.

How it works

The symposium is open to all students for 7-days post the live event date (March 30) and registration if free.

Registrations must be from an email associated with an education institute or school.

Sessions will be conducted live on March 30, 2023 and recordings available for a period of time post this date. Extended access beyond 7-days can be purchased via The Institute Shop.

Students can also post a question in the student forum and have an industry leader provide insights. All students can attempt our Trivia Quiz.

Member schools of The Institute of Revenue Management – Centre of Excellence receive ongoing access to the content.

Student Challenge

The challenge varies each year and allows student cohorts the opportunity to work together and apply critical thinking skills to solve a complex revenue and yield management problem. Students submit a video presenting their recommendations and solutions.

The challenge is set and reviewed by our student symposium committee and judged by the independent advisory board members of the Australian Revenue Management Association. Extra criteria will be set for post-graduate students.

The winning team and highly commended team will be announced at the APAC Revenue Management Summit held in Sydney in May 2023 and rewarded with an education reward.

Student Challenge: Submission due by April 30 2023

A nominal entry fee applies for all submissions into the Student Challenge. Student Challenge entry is optional.

Rewards
